9:15 am - 10:15 am in Room 56

At 9:15 am every Shabbat morning, highlights from the week's Torah portion are read and discussed in Room 56. Each month an Emanu-El Rabbi will lead Torah Study. Commentary from rabbinic sages of the past and present are interspersed with our own life experience and insights. Readings and discussion are in English. Beginners are welcome!

The teachings of the Hasidic master, Rabbi Levi Yitzhak of Berditchev on the weekly parasha.  While we will read from a vocalized (with the dots) Hebrew text, no knowledge of Hebrew is required.  This is not a class but rather an on-going Shabbos morning discussion group.
