A CHILD-CENTERED PLAYGROUP IN A JEWISH SETTING FOR CHILDREN 18-30 MONTHS

Stepping Up is a program designed for parents and their children, ages 18 months to 2 1/2.

Stepping Up provides children with an opportunity to interact with other children in an enriched, age-appropriate environment in a Jewish setting. The children spend the morning participating in activities including building with blocks and manipulative toys, doing puzzles, and exploring the world of creative arts and dramatic play as well as celebrating Jewish holidays.

Parents have the opportunity to watch the children as they play and to talk with the facilitator about important issues concerning children in this age group. Parents also have the chance to talk with each other about the joys and concerns that are common to parents with children of this age.

The spring semester of Stepping Up meets on Fridays, starting October 17 from 10:00 am - 11:30 am.
