This year students will delve into Jewish ethical teachings and moral decision-making. Students will be guided by Rabbi Jonathan Jaffe in a mature discussion of life dilemmas in consultation with classical and contemporary texts. These are lively educational sessions using videos, drama, readings and action programs.

The 8th Grade Family Education Program takes place in the fall.
A Family Education program, led by Shalom Bayit, takes place in the winter.
A Parent-Teen Parallel Program takes place in the spring.
8th grade meets once a week, 2-3 Sundays a month.
