Sunday 9:00-11:45 am OR Wednesday 4:15-6:15 pm
Our students encounter the ceremonial and ritual objects that make the Temple a sacred place as we explore our
own Temple Emanu-El. Students engage in conversations with our rabbis and cantor in their offices. Field trips
include communal institutions such as the Jewish Community Library and the Contemporary Jewish Museum.
In our Torah studies we discover the early narratives found in the book of Genesis: Creation, Adam and Eve, Cain
and Abel, Noah and the Flood, and the Tower of Babel.
Our students meet the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet and important Jewish words such as mitzvah, tzedakah,
derech eretz, bracha, and Talmud Torah.
