GRADE 9 - SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND THE HOLOCAUST

The year is divided into two semesters:

First Semester Curriculum: Social Responsibility

  • Homelessness and Hunger
  • Healthcare
  • Housing

    Second Semester Curriculum: Social Irresponsibility - The Holocaust

  • The Weimar Republic
  • The War Against the Jews
  • The Contrast - Resistance and Rescue
  • The 9th Grade Family Education Program takes place in the fall. In the winter, students experience the Jewish Heritage Trip to Los Angeles, featuring The Museum of Tolerance.
    9th Grade meets once a week, 2-3 Sundays a month.
