SHABBAT EXCHANGE
Shabbat Exchange enables students and their families to participate in Shabbat morning services in place of either Sunday or Wednesday Youth Education sessions for eight weeks. Students must be accompanied by at least one adult family member. Families in The Rabbis' Torah Class also participate in Shabbat Exchange. Families are assigned Shabbat Exchange dates.

WEEKDAY TORAH : Grade 6
Weekday Torah studies for 6th grade continue with a focus on the Shabbat morning prayers, especially the Torah Service and reading from the Tanach. Students who attend Brandeis Hillel Day School and take Hebrew classes there do not need to enroll in our Weekday Torah program.

WEEKLY CLASSES - WEDNESDAYS OR SUNDAYS
First Unit: Torah and Mitzvot
Second Unit: Sh'ma and Its Blessings
Third Unit: The Prophets
THE RABBIS' TORAH CLASS
The Rabbis' Torah Class brings parents and pre-B'nei Mtizvah children together to engage in serious study of sacred texts guided by master teachers. It is a unique learning environment for families seeking deeper connections with our texts, with each other, and with other committed families. The Rabbis' Torah Class is an alternative to our weekly sixth grade Youth and Family Education 6th grade curriculum. The Rabbis' Torah Class meets on Sunday mornings about once a month and includes a mandatory weekend retreat. It is a parent and child program. There is an additional fee for this program.
Families much choose either Weekly Classes OR The Rabbis' Torah Class.
