MADRICHIM

Each year Youth and Family Education welcomes new teen teachers onto our teaching teams. These ninth and tenth graders are graduates of the Madrichim Teacher Training program. Madrichim students explore teaching techniques, classroom management, child development, and lesson planning. This program is open to all registered eighth and ninth grade students.



NFTY - PCW: North American Federation of Temple Youth- Pacific Central West Region
For almost seventy years, the North American Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) has offered thousands of young people the opportunity to explore and live Reform Judaism.

Today, over 450 Reform congregations throughout North America sponsor Temple Youth Groups, bringing the NFTY experience to more than 10,000 high school-age young people in grades 9 thru 12. Through involvement opportunities offered by congregations, our 19 NFTY regions, and on the North American level, NFTYites strive to forge an identity in consonance with the goals and values of Reform Judaism.

Congregation Emanu-El encourages and helps our 9th - 12th grade students participate in the regional NFTY retreats at Camp Neuman. Mark your calendars now:
