CAFÉ (Community and Family Education) is a venture between youth and family education, membership programs and the preschool designed to offer a range of programs that target congregants at various stages of life.

Please join the fabulous Jonathan Bayer, and a member of our clergy for a musical Shabbat morning experience at Temple Emanu-el.
Families with children of all ages are welcome!
Join us on the SECOND Saturday morning of each month from 10:45 -12:00

We invite you to join us for a "First Friday-style" service
The Potrero Hill Neighborhood House
(953 De Haro Street, at Southern Heights Street)
This service is always on the FOURTH Friday at 6:00 pm.
This popular, musical, upbeat Shabbat service, is perfect for all ages!

CAFE (Community and Family Education) presents:
"The Chuppah and Beyond," a six week series for engaged
or newly married couples. We are providing you with a
great opportunity to meet other couples and share Jewish
traditions together.
Facilitated by our family programs coordinator Leslie Ticktin
and our Congregation Emanu-El clergy, these classes will
help you enhance your communication, learn the principles
of good financial planning, and develop the necessary skills
to foster a long, happy, loving relationship. Join us as we
help you plan your future together!
The cost for the 6-week series is $36 for members and $48
for non-members.

"1-2-3 JEWISH ME"...
A Jewish education program for families with children of all ages.
These classes are designed to introduce families to the joys of celebrating Shabbat and other Jewish holidays in a
hands-on, fun and friendly environment. 1-2-3 Jewish Me provides an opportunity for families to experience and
explore the traditions, customs, and foods associated with Jewish holidays. Each session contains arts and crafts,
music, Hebrew language, parenting discussions, and take home information geared towards the specific unit topic
or holiday. During each session we will celebrate Havdalah and enjoy dinner with new and old friends.
