CAFÉ (Community and Family Education) is a venture between youth and family education, membership programs and the preschool designed to offer a range of programs that target congregants at various stages of life.

GOT SHABBAT?

Your family is invited to a Shabbat morning experience at Temple Emanu-El. Please join Jonathan Bayer and members of our clergy for a fun-filled service. Families with children of ALL AGES are welcome on the second Saturday morning of each month. Starting at 10:45 am and ending at noon, your family will enjoy a short service, arts-n-crafts, and music.

GOT SHABBAT MOVES TO THIRD WEEK BEGINNING IN JULY
Please note that, beginning Saturday, July 18, our popular Got Shabbat program for families with young children will move to the THIRD Saturday of the month. Got Shabbat begins at 10:45 am in Room 56 and features music, snacks and an art project. It’s a lively introduction to Shabbat worship for the children, and a good opportunity for parents to connect.

SOMAnu-EL SHABBAT SERVICE
There will be no SOMAnu-El services or dinner in July, August or September.

JEWISH PARENTING for Expectant Parents We offer an exciting series for
expectant parents before your bundle of joy arrives, learn many ways to prepare for your new Jewish family. Leslie Ticktin, our Family Programs Coordinator, will facilitate the group along with our clergy and various guest speakers. - Brit Milah, Pidyon Haben

"1-2-3 JEWISH ME"...
A Jewish education program for families with children of all ages.
These classes are designed to introduce families to the joys of celebrating Shabbat and other Jewish holidays in a
hands-on, fun and friendly environment. 1-2-3 Jewish Me provides an opportunity for families to experience and
explore the traditions, customs, and foods associated with Jewish holidays. Each session contains arts and crafts,
music, Hebrew language, parenting discussions, and take home information geared towards the specific unit topic
or holiday. During each session we will celebrate Havdalah and enjoy dinner with new and old friends.
