SAN FRANCISCO FOOD BANK

The Food Bank's volunteer community provides vital support to our mission of ending hunger in San Francisco. The Food Bank provides donated and purchased food to over 500 non-profit agencies, enabling them to give nutritious meals or supplemental groceries to thousands of low-income families and individuals in our community. Throughout the year, they rely on the support of more than 12,000 volunteers to sort community food donations, stock pantry shelves, repackage bulk items, label cans, glean produce, and pack food boxes. This year the Food Bank will distribute 29 million pounds of food, enough for more than 58,000 meals each day! Find out more about the San Francisco Food Bank online at www.sffoodbank.org.
