Havdalah in the Neighborhood is an opportunity for Temple Emanu-El neighbors to get together on a Saturday evening for dessert, coffee, and socializing, and to experience a beautiful Havdalah ceremony led by a member of the Temple clergy. Each neighborhood has its own Havdalah gathering, which travels to different neighborhoods throughout San Francisco, Marin, the East Bay, and Peninsula. Havdalah gatherings are held monthly and invitations are sent to congregants to notify them of the time and place.
