Begin your Wednesdays with yoga for a serene start to your day.
Why yoga? Scientific studies have shown that yoga lowers
blood pressure and anxiety, relieves back pain, contributes to
flexibility and agility, deepens breathing, and augments feelings of
happiness, peace and connectedness to others.
Why at the Temple? We have a warm and congenial yoga gathering
in a relaxed atmosphere where you can find both new friends and
your own inner vitality.
These sessions incorporate the various elements of yoga including
postures with emphasis on correct alignment, breathing, balance,
and guided imagery. Bring a yoga mat. All levels and abilities are
welcome.
Leader: Rayner Needleman, Certified Yoga teacher and therapist, has
been teaching for many years in Bay Area health clubs, CPMC, and Temple
Emanu-El. She leads yoga trips to exciting international destinations as well
as donating her yoga expertise to local assisted living facilities.
