YAHRZEIT & MEMORIAL BOOK OPPORTUNITIES
"The righteous live forever." - Wisdom of Sirach
Remembering departed loved ones is a special mitzvah. As long as the deceased are in our hearts and minds, they continue to be a part of us.
At Congregation Emanu-El there are several ways a loved one may be remembered:
- A Yahrzeit may be read annually at Shabbat services. A contribution would be appreciated.

- A Perpetual Yahrzeit may be read in perpetuity for a one-time contribution of $1500. Up to six names may initially be listed. After the first year, additional names may be added at $250 per name.

- The departed may be listed annually in the Memorial Book printed for the Yizkor service on Yom Kippur. Click here to download the 2008 Memorial Book form.

- A Perpetual Memorial may list loved ones in perpetuity in the Yom Kippur Memorial Book for an initial one- time contribution of $1500. Up to six names may be listed. After the first year, additional names may be added at $250 per name.

- A Combined Perpetual Yahrzeit and Perpetual Memorial may be established for a one-time contribution of $2500.
