Drop in with your little one (birth to 30 months) and spend time with other parents. Join us as we prepare to welcome Shabbat on Fridays and celebrate Havdalah on Mondays. Enjoy music, stories, puppets and more with Early Childhood Educator Mimi Greisman. Take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents and create lasting friendships.

Mimi is well known in the Bay Area for her musical talents with babies and toddlers. She has three children with Irving and five grandchildren. Mimi has a Master’s degree in education with an emphasis in early childhood, psychology, and counseling, and is also a preschool teacher at Temple Emanu-El Preschool.



Side By Side - Winter 2015

 Temple Emanu-El's Side By Side Program introduces our youngest children (18 months to 2.5 years) to a preschool environment with their parent or caregiver by their side. Our Side By Side program is rich in Jewish content, celebrating Jewish traditions and holidays. This program will be a wonderful introduction to preschool that will deepen relationships in our community and launch a meaningful beginning to the school experience for both parents and children.

Thanks to a generous underwriter, we are now able to offer Bagels and Babies weekly at no charge. Create lasting friendships for you AND your baby. This is a weekly musical playgroup and a parenting class all in one! Bring your bundle of joy (birth to 30 months) and spend time with other parents. Join us as we prepare to welcome Shabbat with Mimi Greisman. Enjoy music, stories, puppets, and more.

Becoming a parent is a monumental milestone, marked by joy and unexpected challenges. Join us as we explore and share helpful skills with other parents in our Emanu-El community. Topics to be discussed include adjusting to parenthood, negotiating family roles, establishing positive and consistent routines, incorporating Jewish ritual into your family life and finding a healthy balance as a parent. Your baby will enjoy age appropriate toys, music, stories, and games.

Thanks to a generous underwriter, we are now able to offer Mazel Tots weekly at no charge. Join other parents and little ones and welcome the new week with Havdalah and Mimi Greisman. This group will provide a wonderful opportunity to connect with other parents and create lasting friendships. We hope you can participate in this musical play group that focuses on parenting your baby or toddler. We will talk about language development, making friends, starting preschool, finding time for you, siblings, physical development, new-found autonomy, and any topic identified by the group. We will have guest speakers from time to time as well as celebrate Jewish holidays and traditions. Enjoy a relaxed setting filled with music, puppets, and more, while you and your little one can play and meet other parents and kids!  

Second Saturday Got Shabbat? Service

10:15 – 11:30 am on the second Saturday of the month
This service is perfect for families with children under the age of 5.


 

Become The Write Mama

Join a group of new moms and explore together what matters about Motherhood.
Currently gathering interest. Date and Time TBD.
