2013 Summer Family Israel Trip
Visit the Promised Land with Rabbi JaffeJune 19 – 29
As questions of peoplehood and the Israel–US relationship are more pressing than ever, join us in engaging with Israel through an in depth family trip this summer. The 12-day tour will focus on both historical sites and modern issues, while allowing time to enjoy the land of milk and honey (and to escape the June fog!). Please find below a first draft of the tour itinerary, which will take us from Jerusalem to the Golan Heights, from modern Tel Aviv to mystical Sfat, from Masada to the old city. The trip is directed towards singles and families alike. At all sites, a youth and adolescent educator will be on hand to guide all children in attendance, while the main guide will continue with the tour group.
Land cost for the full program, including hotels, meals and tips, is $2799. Financial assistance is available upon request. All participants are responsible for their own air travel, arriving in Jerusalem by June 19.
If you are interested in joining us, please email Rabbi Jaffe at jjaffe@emanuelsf.org or call (415) 751-2541 x109.
Summer 2014 Israel Trip dates have been set for June 18-28, 2014.
