Cooking For Congregants 

For congregants with daytime availability, please see below.  

Participate in this mitzvah led by congregant and former restaurant owner, Gail Laghi. Gail has volunteered to run a two-hour cooking session with up to ten congregant volunteers to make meals for congregants in need, either facing a recent illness, death, or birth. Preschool parents are invited to cook on the first Thursday of the month, while all congregants are invited to help out on the second Thursday of the month. The Stories of Your Life: A Guided Autobiography and Life Review Writing Group

The first Monday of each month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, unless otherwise noted. 

Join a group of older adult peers (60 and better!) to explore, share and preserve your unique life. Get to know yourself and others better. The writing will mostly be done outside of group time and shared, if chosen, in a safe and structured way. Facilitated by fellow congregant, LCSW, Geriatric Social Worker, mother, and writer, Nancy Alpert. Please feel free to bring a brown bag lunch. Do you love Scrabble and the challenge of putting letters together to form words?
Join the Temple’s Scrabble Group and play a rousing game or two. Perfect your word skills and expand your social circle. Mah Jongg

Enjoy playing Mah Jongg? Come and join us! Arrive by 6:30 if you have any questions. Play goes by 7:00 pm and lasts till 9:00 pm.
