Membership at Congregation Emanu-El
Temple Emanu-El's Young Adult Community seeks to foster an open and supportive atmosphere for Jewish Bay Area young adults in their 20's and 30's. We are committed to providing a spiritual, educational, and social life reflecting the diversity, talents and interests of this community. And we seek to make membership in the community accessible to anyone who is interested, regardless of financial constraints.

Joining Congregation Emanu-El is easier than you thought!
At Temple Emanu-El we ask you to "choose your dues" for your first fiscal year of membership, under our voluntary system. Our guidelines suggest a minimum of $180 per adut. Our fiscal year is July 1 - June 30. No one has ever been denied membership due to financial circumstances. After the first year of membership, we will help all who are interested to continue as members of the congregation. All Jews, or those with Jewish partners, are welcome to become members. Individuals and families who have questions about our membership commitment program may work with our membership director, Terry Kraus, to determine a mutually agreeable commitment.
The deadline to join to receive High Holy Day tickets for 2010 is September 1, 2010.
