JOB OPPORTUNITY
COORDINATOR, YOUNG ADULT COMMUNITY

We are looking for a thoughtful, creative, and dynamic individual who will work closely with clergy members and a committed leadership committee to create, envision, implement and market our many programs and events that serve Bay Area young Jewish people in their 20s and 30s. All our programs must reflect the mission statement of our young adult community, which seeks to foster an open and supportive atmosphere by providing a spiritual, educational, and social life reflecting the diversity, talents and interests of this community.

Ideal candidate should have a strong desire and interest to cultivate and nurture relationships amongst community members, creating friendships and smaller communities amongst our larger 1900+ person community. Candidate also will work within Membership Department to bridge our young adult community to the greater congregational community. Candidates must have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff, community leaders, community members, and volunteers. Candidates must have knowledge of Jewish communal activities, values and culture. Candidate must also have strong organizational, administrative, and project management skills as well as the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

This is a full time position and work load includes some weekends and evenings, including two Shabbat services a month.

Bachelor's degree and at least two years work experience required.

Compensation commensurate with experience
