Getting Here

The Temple is served by Muni bus lines 1, 2, and 33, which are very close, and by bus line 38, a few blocks away. Bus lines 1, 2 and 33 stop at California and Arguello, and bus line 38 stops at Geary and California. Street parking is available near the temple.

Tours

We are happy to show our Temple. We have 10-minute drop-in tours if a staff member is available, but this cannot be guaranteed. If no staff member is available, we invite you to call us to arrange for a brief tour or to accompany a larger group on an already scheduled tour.

Bikkur Cholim – Visiting the Sick

Congregation Emanu-El’s clergy rely on our members to inform us when a congregant is ill or in need of a visit.  Please know that hospitals do not inform us when congregants are admitted.  If you know of a member who would appreciate a call or visit from our clergy or chaplain, please call Saundrah Anjali, assistant to Rabbis Beth and Jonathan Singer, at (415) 751-2541 x135 or write to sanjali@emanuelsf.org. The Bay Area Jewish Healing Center, Jewish Healing Center, is available to help those who are unaffiliated.
