SCHEDULE

Air quality alert and weekend services

Update (11/16, 1:30 pm)

In response to the increasingly unhealthy air conditions in San Francisco, Temple Emanu-El will be closed on Friday, November 16 until 3:00 pm. Preschool will be closed as well.

Thank you for your understanding. Shabbat is still planned for this evening and we encourage each one of our congregants to make their own decision about attending. Your health and well-being are foremost in our minds.  Our legacy building does not have any air filtering systems.

Please reach out to any of the clergy if you are faced with any particular struggles. We are always here for you. This evening’s Shabbat we will be saying healing prayers throughout for everyone affected by the fires.

We hope air quality will improve soon. Please take care and stay healthy.

— Your Emanu-El Staff and Clergy
