Young Adult: Mini Summer Camp!

It’s the end of August which means… summer is officially starting in SF! And we’re bringing summer camp to YOU in Golden Gate Park. Join the Perelman sisters, two experienced summer camp vets, for an afternoon of fun outdoor field games – like the ones we played when we were kids!

Make sure to wear something you can be active in, and invite your friends! We can't wait to show you our summer camp spirit!

This is a program of Emanu-El's Young Adult (20s & 30s) Community.

HHD 2021 – S’lichot Festival Service (8/28/2021)
Aug 28 @ 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

S’lichot is the first gathering where the High Holiday Season begins in earnest. In the traditionally late evening service, the melodies, some specific only to the S’lichot service itself, are some of the most beautiful, rich songs that our tradition has to offer. The Torah covers are also ceremoniously changed to all white, representing new beginnings for the new year. The evening will end with the sounding of the shofar, and our very first opportunity to say “L’shana Tova” as a community. 

*This service is open to members and the entire community, as well as livestreamed. Registration is required for in-person attendance only..
