The Amazing Technicolor Dream Hike (Young Adults)
Nov 21 @ 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

Back by popular demand: we’re going on an outdoor hike! This week’s Torah portion is all about Joseph and his beautiful coat. In his honor, we’ll be exploring the colors of the city. What colors might you find? Don your brightest and most colorful outfit as we explore San Francisco for a calm group hike. We’ll walk around some of the most iconic areas of the city and capture beautiful views. Feel free to bring your camera and your best friends. All well-behaved and leashed fur babies are welcome. Attendance is capped at 20 people. Registration is required, and exact location will be sent out a few days before the hike.

If you have animal allergies, please be aware that this is a dog-inclusive event. All are welcome to bring dogs as long as they are well behaved and on a leash.

This is a program of Emanu-El's 20s & 30s Young Adult Community – thank you for respecting this age requirement.

THIS IS TURKEY BOWL IX

It's time to play football again, which can mean only one thing: Turkey Bowl X is finally upon us! What started 11 years ago with a few people tossing around a football has turned into a full-fledged family event on Thanksgiving morning. Come on out to the Golden Gate Park Big Rec Field near 7th and Lincoln. Bring your family and your best throwing arm, and enjoy a morning of good ol' fun before the feasting begins.

WHEN: Thanksgiving Morning, 8am/8:30am, slowly gather for coffee, stretch, throw around the ball, etc…kick-off usually around 9am. You'll all be home by 11.

WHERE: Golden Gate Park, Big Rec Field, near 7th and Lincoln

WHAT IF I'M HUNGRY?: Doughnuts, coffee, beer.

RSVP if you're in. Invite more friendsCome for an hour if that's all you can do, show up late, leave early – it's all about the fun, betting who gets hurt first and whether Dave Hershenson is still wearing the same cleats.

There's no better way to start this day than on the field having some fun together. See you all there!
