Rita Semel: Stories of Radiance and Repair
Aug 3 @ 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Please join us at a reception celebrating the release of Rita Semel: Stories of Radiance and Repair. A young adult biography written in short stories by Jennifer Kaufman. Wednesday, August 3, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, outside in the Emanu-El Courtyard.

What does it mean to persist? How does a person keep going when things get tough? For more than seven decades, Rita Semel has mobilized broad coalitions to advance common causes of social concern, worked to advocate for those most in need, and built long lasting relationships among diverse communities. Now her story has been captured in a new book.

Cookies and complimentary copies of the book will be available to all in attendance. Rita will be there in person.

Sponsored by Friends of Rita Semel
