Admissions
Admissions Process
STEP 1: Please Fill Out an Application We accept applications any time after your child is born, from both Congregation Emanu-El synagogue members and non-members. Members are given priority in admissions decisions.
STEP 2: Take a Preschool Tour See the schedule and sign up here (required for consideration)
Tours will be held from October through January. Please note that we are currently holding tours virtually via Zoom and will reassess things for the Spring, as are hoping to have school visits at that time. We invite parents of children to attend a tour. This will give you the opportunity to visit the classrooms and facilities as well as hear from other parents and our preschool director. Tours are led by our Director of Early Childhood Education, accompanied by a member of the clergy, and a Parent Association representative. If you have questions, please contact the preschool office, (415) 751-2541 x118.
STEP 3: Enroll Acceptance and wait list letters are mailed to families in early March.
Your application will be taken into consideration for potential admission provided that your child is between 2 years and 5 years 4 months old by the time of their enrollment. Tours are given during the months of October through February prior to the fall term.
