Extended Day (EDC)
We offer very flexible extended care options to support our families. About 70% of our families contract to use some EDC throughout the year.
During the extended day program, the children are split into two mixed-age groups (napping and non-napping), each having ample free play time indoors and out. The children have snack and engage in special small group projects and activities such as cooking, messy art, science, walks, and library tips. We ask that the youngest students (2-year-olds) wait until they are fully phased in to begin attending extended day care.
- Extended care is available Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 9:00am (morning care); 3:15pm, or 5:50pm (5:30pm on Fridays)
- You may contract annually for two days or more and for the following times: 8:00-8:45am, 3:30pm or 5:50pm
- Or, you may elect to use the EDC program on an ad-hoc drop-in basis (space permitting).
