Investing in Women During War: Project Kesher in Conversation

Wednesday, May 22 at 10:30 am

Due to scheduling conflicts, this program has been cancelled.

What does it mean to invest in women during war? An introduction to gendered humanitarian care, grants for women-owned businesses, and mental health care.

Please join us for a conversation with Karyn Gershon, CEO of Project Kesher - an outstanding organization helping Russian-speaking Jewish women and girls in Ukraine and Israel. Ukraine team leader Vlada Nedak will join Karyn to discuss how women in both communities are often seen as outsiders and face barriers to family management, professional career training, and building new lives with little to no support while spouses are at war.

Project Kesher leverages a highly efficient grass-roots organization to share resources, create jobs and job training, provide direct services, and more to thousands of women, who in turn strengthen and rebuild their communities. Join us to learn about their fantastic work!
