Grit & Endurance: How to Keep Hope Alive
Working to stop gun violence, preserve our climate, restore reproductive rights, and maintain fundamental democratic principles has become increasingly challenging. How do we hang in there and stay committed to the Jewish value of tzedek, tzedek tirdof (relentlessly pursuing justice) when things seem so difficult?
Please join the Tzedek Justice Collective and Rabbi Jason Rodich as we hear inspiring and hopeful reflections from social justice heroes; Mayor Michael Tubbs, founder of End Poverty in California, Judi Shils, founder and Executive Director of Turning Green, Adrian Schurr, the Regional Giving Lead for Google.org, and Senator Scott Wiener. Our panelists will share with us how they remain committed to the work of Tikkun Olam despite enormous challenges. We hope you will join us for this rare opportunity to hear from exceptional activists and leaders, witnessing hope and inspiration at a time when we all need more of both!
*This service will be in person for members, as well as livestreamed for the community.
