High Holy Day Preview
What Will Our 40-Day Journey Look Like?
As we prepare for the Days of Awe and the period of reflection leading up to them, we know that these High Holy Days of 5781 will be different. We warmly invite all congregants to join Emanu-El clergy and staff in this interactive virtual session, to learn more about how our sacred season will be felt and experienced during the pandemic. Your clergy team has been hard at work to thoughtfully adapt our worship, learning, gathering and social justice efforts to provide a meaningful, engaging, and immersive experience from home. We hope you will join us to hear how we plan to pray, sing, learn, reflect, and celebrate these High Holy Days as we come together, not in shared space, but in shared time. We will also unveil a new High Holy Day website to help you personalize a High Holy Day experience that works for you, and share a very special way that you will be able to come to our historic temple with your household for a moment of reflection.
