Join Young Adult Community members Annie Alpers and Amanda Minsky in discussing Black Power, Jewish Politics, by SFSU professor Dr. Marc Dollinger. Dr. Dollinger corrects common myths about the Black-Jewish alliance in the 1960s and explains how this alliance powerfully shaped present-day Jewish cultural norms, including around religious education, Zionism, and gender-inclusivity. This book is available from major retailers, from the SF Public Library (hard copy), and as an e-book from the Oakland Public Library, Jewish Community Library, and California Jewish Library Digital Book Consortium.
