One Shabbat – Chanukah Service
The flames of the Chanukah menorah are a symbol of Jewish identity and continuity. We light the menorah for eight days to remember the miracle of the human spirit, honor the light of rededication and the Maccabees who put their trust in God.
Please join us as we bring the light of community into our homes for this online Chanukah Kabbalat Shabbat Service, beginning at 6:00 pm. Have your chanukkiah and candles on hand for a community candle lighting, infused with beautiful music and a spiritual welcoming of the holiday. This special Shabbat is meant to be enjoyed by families and adults alike.
To participate in the community candle-lighting, please register and the Zoom link will be sent to you several days before the service. Alternatively, you can tune in for the Livestream Kabbalat Shabbat here or view the service on Facebook Live. To follow along with prayers, click here for a free online Mishkan T’Fillah prayer book.
