Preschool Family Shabbat Dinner 1/19/2018
“Family isn’t always blood. It’s the people in your life who want you in theirs. The ones who accept you for who you are. The ones who would do anything to see you smile, and who love you no matter what.”
The theme for this year’s evening is ‘family’. Led by our wonderful rabbis, each table (decorated with child-made centerpieces) will recite the blessings over the candle lighting, challah, and wine. We have planned some lovely family activities and crafts, fabulous catered Mexican drinks and food, a potluck dessert contest, a photo “booth” for family snapshots, a cozy, dimly lit peace tent decorated for some quiet activities and books, all topped off by Cantor Marsha Attie leading us in traditional Jewish dancing! We are SO EXCITED to spend this beautiful evening together!
Please bring a bottle of wine to share and a potluck dessert item to participate in our contest (more info to follow).
Services begin at 5:30 followed by dinner. We look forward to seeing you!
*Please note: If you'd like to sponsor a family's attendance to the dinner, you may drop off additional donations at the preschool office*
