Please join us for this special afternoon with renowned educator, Rachel Korazim. She will be speaking about Israeli Society and the Holocaust, exploring the development of the Holocaust narrative in Israel from the early days still under British Mandate all the way to recent years. We will listen to individual testimonies, evaluate ideological and political points of view to create a combined image of our quest for meaning.
Rachel Korazim is a freelance Jewish education consultant in curriculum development for Israel and Holocaust education. She engages audiences worldwide through innovative presentations built around the stories, poems, and songs of Israel’s best writers. Rachel’s thought-provoking talks open a window onto Israeli society, inviting listeners to engage with the country and its history in new ways. This program is designed to engage inter-generational conversation around the Holocaust.
This program is free to the community and in partnership with the Shalom Hartman Institute and the Koret Foundation.
