Ukrainian-Jewish Heritage Shabbat Service – (3/4/2022)
Congregation Emanu-El, 2 Lake Street, San Francisco, CA
94118
In light of the tragic events in Ukraine, please join us this Friday, March 4th, at 6:00 pm for a special Shabbat service in our main sanctuary. We will journey with Cantor Arik Luck through some of the many Jewish musical traditions that are rooted in Ukraine, and Rabbi Ryan Bauer will discuss the ongoing tragedy, and ways to understand this moment through a Jewish lens.
To best ensure we can provide a safe and sacred experience, please note the following:
- Capacity is limited to allow attendees to social distance if they are more comfortable doing so.
- Advance registration is required. If for any reason you are not able to register in advance, you are still welcome to attend and we will take care of registration at the gate.
- Masks are required at all times inside.
- Please review our COVID-19 on-site event protocols so you’ll know what to expect. We're so excited to welcome you back into our beautiful sanctuary.
