Please join the Tzedek Council for a movie screening and discussion about the Academy Award nominated Netflix documentary short “Lead Me Home.” Just days before the Oscars, we will view the documentary in the beautiful Martin Meyer Sanctuary. We are very excited to be joined by co-director, social justice filmmaker, and Emanu-El congregant, Jon Shenk. Jon will be in conversation with our very own Rabbi Sydney Mintz, reflecting on the deeper meanings of the film. There might even be goodie bags full of movie theater-themed treats.
