Countries, like people, have clothes that represent who they are and what they stand for. Like any good thriller, the story of fashion in Israel has unexpected twists and turns from its inception in 1948 to the present. From biblical fantasies to cutting-edge technologies, we will experience how a young nation forged its identity stitch by stitch.
Join us for this unforgettable virtual event as we explore key moments and designers who shaped what it means to be Israeli. Keren Ben-Horin is a fashion historian, curator, and author. Moderator: Anat Pilovsky, S.F Bezalel Academy Chair and Temple Emanu-El Israel Action committee member. Q&A to follow the presentation.
