Teshuva and Tochecha with Rabbi Jason Rodich
Teshuva and Tochecha: Returning to Myself and Inviting My Beloveds to Return.
Wednesday, September 23 at 12pm
As we prepare for the High Holy Days, join Rabbi Rodich to explore Jewish thought about the customs of teshuva (often translated as "return" or"repentance") and tochecha (often translated as critical feedback or rebuke).
How does Judaism invite us to be our highest selves, and what guidance does our tradition offer us when we need to tell a loved one that we need for them to do better? In this session, we will explore ancient texts on these customs and investigate ways in which they might offer wisdom for our lives. Texts will be provided that may be useful for further reflection over the Yamim Nora'im, The High Holy Days & Days of Awe.
