Tribe 2.0 The Power of Being All Grown Up
Congregation Emanu-El, Two Lake Street, San Francisco, CA

Pathwise Leadership's Bay Area Director of Advising, Cecilia Culverhouse, will introduce participants to the leadership development concept of Cognitive Development. This workshop will look at cognitive levels through experiential exercises, theory and science, and will explore how participants can use the concepts to manage and lead authentically and effectively.
You will learn how to:
- Raise their cognitive levels so that they communicate, manage, and lead proactively, not re-actively.
- In challenging conversations, catch their reactions before they turn into words and unconscious emotional messages that lead to conflict.
- Begin to foster psychological safety within their team and in client/customer relationships.
- Observe how their own thoughts, judgments, and behavior affect their colleagues', and clients'/customers' attitudes, performances, and decisions.
Working from a higher level, one can communicate clearly, deepen team and client loyalty, and more easily navigate complex challenges – even while under pressure.
