Struggling with Spirituality, God, Ideas and Religious Meaning

In this class, Rabbi Jonathan will create a safe place for those who question God’s existence, have wondered about the possibility of spirituality with or without God. Using both traditional and radical texts from Rabbi Nachman of Bratzlavs narrow bridge, to Buber’s eclipse of God, we will explore different Jewish pathways about technology and God’s presence, what does it mean to pray or mediate in 21st century context, and consider the value of ritual, and spiritual objects in contemporary life.
