Unity Group: Mass Incarceration — What You Can Do About It
With increasing numbers of people being sent to jail and to prison, the San Francisco Black-Jewish (and Allies) Unity Group wants to encourage conversations leading people to challenge the American mass incarceration criminal justice system. We want to present specific ways people can advocate for alternative sentencing and rehabilitation rather than punishment for those convicted of crimes. We hope to motivate advocates for change to the current system and to the prison industrial complex that has been so harmful to U.S. communities of color.
