Sunday Morning Service
Our annual pulpit exchange events will begin on Friday evening with a Pre-Oneg Festive Light Supper, followed by the Shabbat service. The Third Baptist Church Choir will join with our cantors and their ensemble, and Reverend Amos Brown will deliver that evening’s sermon.
On Sunday, Congregation Emanu-El members will visit Third Baptist Church to take part in the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Sunday morning service, followed by a festive lunch. Rabbi Beth Singer will deliver the morning sermon and Cantor Marsha Attie will participate with a song.
City-wide MLK March
Join our Emanu-El clergy and the Black-Jewish Unity Group as we march in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade. The 1.5-mile march will begin at the 4th and Townsend streets at the Caltrain station.
