Join us for a special gathering with your fellow sisters of Emanu-El. Though this is not a Seder, we will share the evening together with music, mixers, song, dance, chevruta (a little study in partnerships), comedy, desserts and libations. Led by Rabbis Beth Singer and Sydney Mintz and Cantor Marsha Attie.
Passover 101: An Hour of Passover Prep

Friday, April 15, 6:00 – 6:30 pm, Reuben Rinder Chapel
Join us for a short Erev Pesach Shabbat Service with Kaddish in the Reuben Rinder Chapel. Led by Rabbi Jonathan Singer. This service will not be livestreamed.
Special Passover Torah Study

Family Passover Experience – BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic)
(Event Canceled)
Saturday, April 16, 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Mountain Lake Park 11th Ave. Meadow
We are offering Emanu-El families an intimate and sweet opportunity to gather! Observe the reflective and communal aspect of Pesach by taking a moment of rest and relishing in the simcha (joy) of being back in person. Bring your family, a picnic and your coziest blankets to join in kehillah (community) for a low-key get together between seders, with the acoustic stylings of our very own Cantors Luck and Attie.
Coloring pages and crayons will be provided!
A Passover Evening Out!
with Rabbi Jonathan Singer
Wednesday, April 20, 7:00 – 10:00 pm, Martin Meyer Sanctuary
Come for a screening of the hysterical western, The Frisco Kid. Centered on the unlikely friendship between a rabbi (Gene Wilder) and an outlaw (Harrison Ford), The Frisco Kid presents a captivating midrash about our temple’s first rabbi and his journey across the Old West.
Arrive at 7:00 pm for a Passover nosh in the courtyard, including desserts, wine, soft drinks and mingling. Then, watch the film in the Martin Meyer Sanctuary at 7:30 pm.
Yizkor Memorial Service
Friday, April 22, 5:15 – 5:45 pm, Martin Meyer Sanctuary & Livestream
Everyone is invited to participate in this beautiful Jewish tradition of Remembering. Led by Rabbi Beth Singer with music by Cantor Marsha Attie and accompanists. This service will be livestreamed on our website.

Emanu-El is proud to promote our community partners’ Passover programming:
