Wednesday, October 12, 6:00-8:00 pm – Join Cantor Marsha Attie, Rabbi Beth Singer, Rabbi Sarah Joselow Parris, and your fellow Emanu-El sisters and clergy for a special evening in the sukkah and a night of schmoozing, teaching, singing and sharing food! Bring your favorite Sukkot or yummy harvest dish to share – savory or sweet!

Friday, October 14, 8:00-11:00 pm – Join the Young Adult community of Congregation Emanu-El for a special Sukkot edition of Late Shabbat! We’ll be partying under the sukkah with cider from Ethic Ciders, Mediterranean food, Israeli music, and more! Come shake the lulav and welcome the beautiful harvest festival of Sukkot with friends.

Sunday, October, 16, 3:00-3:30 pm – Join Rabbi Beth Singer and Cantor Attie in the courtyard from 3:00-3:30 pm for a Yizkor (Remembrance) memorial service, which is recited on the eighth day of Sukkot (Shemini Atzeret). It is said by every person who has lost a parent or other loved ones. Register for Yizkor Service

Sunday, October 16, 4:00-6:00 pm – Rejoice with us as we mark the conclusion of the annual cycle of public Torah readings and the beginning of a new cycle! We will meet at the staircase at 8th Avenue and Lake Street for a festive parade with the Torah, as we return to our courtyard for music and revelry. It’s the perfect celebration for all ages! Light dinner will be served.
