Highlighting Our Upgraded Online Member Experience
While the building is changing, additional upgrades to the Member Portal and online user experience will make it easier than ever to connect with Emanu-El!
So why are these changes happening?
Congregation Emanu-El is undergoing a significant period of renewal, onsite as well as online. While we undergo major building renovations to foster a stronger spiritual experience in-person, we are taking the opportunity to expand our online membership capabilities to better serve our community through streamlined online access to everything we offer in terms of membership, programming, and education here at Emanu-El. There may be a learning curve to these changes in the beginning, so do not hesitate to email [email protected] if you cannot find the answers you need here.
Between June 30 and July 11, Congregation Emanu-El is transitioning to the new portal, and therefore many of our online systems will be down. If you are wanting to contribute, renew your membership, or manage your Youth & Family Education or Preschool status/tuition, please email us at [email protected].
Changes to the Online Experience
Logging In
On July 11, current members will receive instructions on how to log in to the new online Member Portal.
Single Sign-On (SSO) will also be available! Users have the option to log in with their Google or Facebook accounts instead of having a username and password. Due to the way accounts are created on our end, please only use either your username and password or one of the SSO options. If you log in to the portal and find your personal information is missing or has changed, you may have used the incorrect login information. Please email [email protected] if you run into any issues related to SSO!
Changes to Our Calendar
Congregation Emanu-El’s events calendar is also being updated! When the new calendar goes live, please create a bookmark for it, as it will be found at a new URL. Our new calendar will seamlessly connect to your Member Portal account, and upcoming and past registrations will be located in one place for easy access.
Member Portal Information
The new Member Portal is built around your unique Emanu-El experience. The portal is context-sensitive in response to your account information – this means that non-members logging in will see membership pathways, Youth & Family Education participants will see education-oriented event listings and messaging, and other notices specific to your membership status or major upcoming gatherings will be present when you log in!
