Join us for a Saturday morning Shabbat flow. Lauren Hammond will be leading a rejuvenating vinyasa flow for yogis of all levels. Whether your new to yoga, or an experienced yogi, come sweat it out with your fellow young adult community members. Bring your own mat and enjoy no-host bagels and coffee after!
Lauren Hammond is a 200 hour registered Yoga teacher and Reiki master/ teacher. She has been teaching for six years around the world with all ages and levels. She uses reiki and dance to inform her yoga practice as a student and teacher. Yoga has been a gift in finding ways to create balance, peace and playfulness in her life. As yoga has integrated into her life, it has allowed her to move out of her head and into the heart space on and off the mat. As a teacher, she hopes to present that gift to others. The gentle vinyasa flow will be one hour of movement for all levels. Using breath, music and playfulness we will retreat from our busy minds and energize the body.

Front Porch: A Special Opportunity for Members of Emanu-El
Are you looking to take a deep dive and really build meaningful relationships with other young adults in our community? We invite you to join Front Porch.
Through this innovative program we are matching young adults in groups and providing short videos and discussion materials to guide the relationship building. We want the groups to get together for six home hosted sessions over the course of six months. We have a box of materials for each group with all of the supplies you will need—video links, session agendas, handouts and discussion questions. The six topics are: sacred space, sacred time, social justice, money, legacy, and community. Check out this video to learn more.
