Volunteer for Larkin Street Youth Services at their Geary House. Join with a small group of young adults to cook dinner for their clients. Meet up at 5:00 pm to cook; dinner is served around 7:00 pm.

It’s Israel’s 69th birthday and there is no better way to celebrate 69 years of growth, diversity and innovation than to join JNFuture, in partnership with The Young Adult Community at Congregation Emanu-El, for a can’t-miss Independence Day celebration! This party with be immediately following JNF Yom Ha’atzmaut Maccabeats community-wide event (which is now at capacity). Join us at Congregation Emanu-El after the concert to walk over to Neck of the Woods or feel free to head straight to the bar.
Featuring Israeli music by DJ Or Treggor aka DJ Alarm. This is a 21+ event.

Our young adult community is warmly invited to experience one of the most popular young Jewish events in the Bay Area. No registration necessary, just show up! Accompany hundreds of young adults for a bewitchingly divine contemporary service led by one of the members of our clergy: Rabbi Sydney Mintz, Rabbi Jason Rodich, and Cantor Marsha Attie, along with the sensational Eric Schoen and Jonathan Ferris. All of the splendor is followed by a lively Oneg featuring schmoozing, snacks and spirits.
Come early to mingle and meet new people before the service for our intimate wine and cheese Welcome Reception at 8:00 pm.

Germany Close Up
We are excited to share the great news that the Emanu-El Young Adult Community is going to be an official partner of Germany Close Up in November of this year! This means that 25 young adults from our community will travel together for an eight day experience in Germany and we’re hoping you will apply to be one of them.
Trip date: November 5th –12th, 2017
Application closes on May 28th, 2017
Chuppah and Beyond
Maintaining Intimacy: Lessons from Successful Marriages
Cost: $150 congregant/$250 non-congregant couple
Are you an engaged or newly married couple? Then this series is meant for you. The Chuppah and Beyond helps participants cultivate the foundational tools for a successful life together while simultaneously building a community of peers. Emanu-El co-facilitates each class along with Yael Melamed, psychotherapist and relationship expert.
